I am cooking the traditional Thanksgiving meal tomorrow, but today, I need to try this spaghetti squash I recently bought. I'm not a huge pasta eater, but I figure if I can save some calories, why not?
I recently tried butternut squash, and it was ok. Kind of bland by itself, and in order to make it exciting, it needs quite a bit of butter and brown sugar, which pretty much defeats the purpose!
Over the years, I've seen plenty of suggestions to use spaghetti squash with pasta sauce, so today I shall brave the unknown to me. Taking a leap here. I know my homemade sauce is good, so hopefully the extra veggie will be pleasant!
