The past couple of weeks have been full of out-of-the-ordinary events. Therefore, it was so stinkin' easy to get off of my food tracking track. Starting with Thanksgiving weekend, of course, then I moved on to a bit of blahs, followed by a situational depression deal, and finally a major surgery of a loved one which has been emotionally and physically draining. My weight shows it. I've gained a few pounds. The thing to figure out is how to deal with these things and stay ON track!
I also find that I easily allow someone else's negativity get to me. I'm usually so "sunny" and happy, but my buttons get pushed and I just get so sad from the negative vibe. Enter Palo Santo. I MUST remember to get out this oil and USE IT when this vibe comes around me! According to the app "Reference Guide For Essential Oils", Palo Santo, also known as "Holy Wood", "it has a wonderfully calming, soothing aroma with a powerful energy. It may help to increase spiritual awareness and focus meditation while clearing the space of negative energy." Instead of going to my oils that I know will help me in situations, I let discouragement take over, and discouragement affects all areas.
Fortunately, the major surgery of my loved one went well, but the healing process will be lengthy (open heart). Send out some prayers and good vibes for the patient, and if you don't mind, I could use some as well! I don't want to be discouraged by my recent behaviors! I have to get it turned around and focus on the positive!
Have a great weekend, y'all!
